Liberty setter Alison Wolf gets the Hawks’ offense started in a three-set victory over Fowler on Thursday. Wolf assisted on a majority of Liberty’s 36 kills in the win.

FOWLER — The Liberty Hawks girls volleyball team runs through a gauntlet of good teams in the Northwest Sequoia Conference, so picking up a win is big.

Not only did the Hawks pick up a win Thursday over the Fowler Redcats, but they did it in dominant fashion. The Hawks outscored the Redcats, 75-44, in the three-set sweep.

Not only that, but the Liberty defense limited the Redcats to just seven kills in the match. Fowler recorded more blocks (8) than kills. They also served up seven aces, but missed six.
