Letters: They don’t want two sides to get along

First of all, I would to thank and commend John Bowers for his great letter in a recent edition of The Madera Tribune about Charlie Kirk. It was a very sharp contrast to a letter previously published, which tried to take an opportunity to demean the accomplishments of Charlie and criticize what he was doing. Very low class attempt to belittle a person who had been senselessly murdered just because the individual did not approve of what Charlie said. As witnessed at his memorial service, there are a lot of people who believed in him and his movement, and will make every effort to keep his legacy going.

There seems to be a big effort by the members of the Democrat party to justify their evil actions just because those on the right are doing it, too. I’ve stated before that I don’t buy into this both sides BS. They feel that it’s ok to glorify and celebrate a person’s death simply because they didn’t believe in what he said. I find their behavior despicable and inhumane.

They feel they need to protest and cry simply because a late night host got suspended for making insensitive comments, claiming a violation of 1st amendment rights and even having the audacity to blame Trump, which, by the way, is their excuse for everything, as the party has nothing going for them. These are the same people that applauded when Roseanne Barr and Tim Allen were forcefully removed from the air simply because they have conservative views.
