Sometimes in life, if we are fortunate, we get to experience a moment of clarity that reminds us what it means to live an honorable life.

On May 14, a memorial service was held in Sonora for Ramiro Ruben Ramirez, who passed way March 28, 2023.

He and his wife moved from San Jose to Madera when he retired from IBM in 1990. For the next two decades, he served as a volunteer in the Madera Community, including at Madera Coalition for Community Justice where he and his wife were board members.
