Letters: My final comments on Charlie Kirk

I speak out because what’s happening in our country scares the bejesus out of me. 

In a recently published letter, I condemned the Charlie Kirk murder. He did not deserve to die for his words. Nor is he the second coming of Christ. 

Kirk suggested the death penalty for Joe Biden, rebuked Jews, gays, and people of color, and preached that God “hates” what Democrats stand for. He accepted “a few” gun deaths to protect the 2nd Amendment and said that children should be forced to watch executions so that they understood what happens to “their enemies.”
