Letters: Lift the bar a little higher

As a life-long citizen of Madera, I must express my disappointment and concern with our city leaders, and the direction they are leading us in.

Madera has deteriorated over the past few decades, but I do not believe cannabis is, or should be, our ticket to prosperity.

There are at least 20 applicants for cannabis dispensaries in the City of Madera. I have been informed the Council may allow up to eight dispensaries within the city.
