I and countless millions of Americans are maddened, disgusted, appalled, horrified and saddened by the assassination of one of America’s finest individuals, Charlie Kirk. While not everyone believed in what Charlie represented, he was truly an American and had a vision of what he thought America should be, and could be.

He had a big influence on many young people hosting numerous events on college campuses throughout the United States through his organization, Turning Point USA. His willingness to debate individuals and discuss various topics was uncanny, but, despite what some people say, he never resorted to hate or encouraged violence.

One of the things I remember him saying was that debate was great and once we refuse to debate, that’s when we have civil war. He was outspoken on the issue of DEI, and rightfully so, trying to guarantee Americans a system that rewarded people based on their efforts and their accomplishments and not based on their race, sexual preference or any other issue.
