Letters: Ignorance kills democracy

Dominion Voting Systems sued Fox “News” because Fox personalities falsely accused the voting machine company of rigging the 2020 election in favor of Joe Biden (the Big Lie). Fox settled that case by paying $787.5 million.

Dominion’s evidence included emails from Fox personalities admitting that they lied on the air, lambasting Trump, ridiculing Trump lawyers, and speaking condescendingly of gullible Fox viewers. They expressed concerns that telling the truth would cost viewership and reduce Fox stock market value.

Why does anyone still watch the liars’ club known as Fox “News?”
