The scoreboard tells the story for Madera American Little League champions, Lee’s Concrete. They defeated the Sunnyside champions, Angels, 9-2, on Saturday at capture the District 10 Tournament of Champions.

Madera American Little League champions, Lee’s Concrete, ended its season on the highest note by capturing the District 10 Tournament of Champions crown with a combined no-hitter on Saturday over Sunnyside champions, the Angels. 

Lee’s scored eight runs in the first inning and cruised to a 9-2 victory to win the title a week after defeating Madera National’s Purl’s to win the Madera city Championship. 

Gerardo Mendez tossed 5 1/3 innings to pick up the win. He allowed two runs, but struck out eight and didn’t allow a hit.
