Konkle is Honorary Mayor of Ranchos

Alec Michael-Warren Konkle, a.k.a.“Hat Boy,” has been named the Madera Ranchos Chamber of Commerce’s, Honorary Mayor.

Candidates raised money for their favorite organization with 75 percent going to the organization and 25 percent to the Chamber.

A dinner was held Wednesday at the home of Verlaine Elinberg to name this year’s winner for Honorary Mayor of the Madera Ranchos and to announce the 2022 Volunteers of the Year.

This year’s volunteer recipients were Ron Griffen and Mike Fursman.

The Madera Ranchos annual Flatlanders Parade will be held on May 21. The parade starts at 10 a.m., where Konkle will lead the way.
