Fourth of July event sponsorship available

The Greater Madera of Kiwanis has been hard at work securing a 4th of July Firework Spectacular for the citizens’ enjoyment.

Madera has not been able to hold this event since 2017. This family fun event will be filled with games, food trucks, live music and adult beverages for 21 and older.

This year’s firework display will be held on the 4th of July, at the Madera Fair Grounds. Gates open at 5 p.m. Free shuttle service will be available for families at Matilda Torres High School. The event and parking are free to the public.

The Greater Madera Kiwanis Club has secured corporate sponsors such as Mid Valley Disposal, Fagundes Dairies & Farms, Links Ranch Harris & Fagundes, Spencer Enterprises, Inc., Labor Force Management, Red Rock Environmental Group, Benchmark Resources, Madera Collection Services and the Willdan Group.

However, the Kiwanis club could use the community’s help. Madera family members can help by sponsoring a shell for $10 or more. The deadline is June 15 to purchase a shell.
