Everybody has a but

This wonderful world is made up of all sorts of folks. We all have unique personalities and characteristics. There are no two people alike in the globe. According to what I have heard, even identical twins are not identical, either physically or otherwise. There are some differences.

As I remember people I have known over my lifetime, I have been very fond of some of them. Others, not so much. However, I do try to respect that each of us has our own perspectives because of various factors. Not one of us was raised alike, even in the same family, and some have been exposed to environments very unlike my own.

The other day, I was thinking about two very dear friends of mine who have both passed away. I remembered some things we did together when we were teenagers, and how much fun we had together, while not always agreeing on definitions of fun.
