Evapco cofounder Wilson Bradley, holds scissors up after cutting the ribbon in celebration of their new expansion and company’s 45th anniversary in Madera.

It was a day of celebration and festivities as Evapco hosted its 45th birthday celebration on Friday.

Flag Day, June 14, 1979, was the day Evapco, Inc. opened its operations in Madera, three years after Wilson Bradley and Bill Kahlert co-founded Evapco in Baltimore, Maryland. It was also the day chosen for the ribbon-cutting of Evapco’s new Sierra Building, which greatly expanded  operations.

Evapco is a manufacturing company, which designs and manufactures evaporative cooling and industrial refrigeration systems worldwide. The company has 36 locations in 14 countries.
