The Madera Coyotes girls basketball team didn’t want to send its seniors out with a loss on Senior Night. 

The Coyotes forged a second half comeback for a 51-42 victory over the Edison Tigers in Joe Flores Gym on Wednesday. 

Madera outscored Edison 32-13 in the second half to claim the win on a night where the Coyotes honored eight seniors — Lilly Smith, Ashley Hernandez, Breann West, Rhynne Mitchell, Eliana Jaramillo, Mariah Taddei, Ariana Gonzalez and Siarah Martinez.
