Madera’s Eduardo Enriquez serves for the Coyotes during a three-set loss to the Sanger Apaches on Thursday.
While the Sanger Apaches and the Bullard-Fresno Knights battle it out for the County/Metro Athletic Conference title, Madera Coyotes boys volleyball head coach Rhonda Jefferson-Counsel is trying to prove her team is one of the best of the second division.
The Coyotes could finish out the CMAC season with a third place finish and that could, and should, put them in line for a top seed in Div. II.
The Coyotes saw, first-hand, what the upper division looks like in a three-set loss to the Apaches where Sanger outscored the Coyotes 75-40 in the three sets Thursday in the Joe Flores Gym regular-season finale.
