Madera’s Jayden Martinez fights for extra yards during Friday’s victory over Paso Robles. Martinez caught five passes for 117 yards in the win.

For the third straight game, the Madera Coyotes football team’s big play offense stepped up for a 42-28 victory over the Paso Robles Bearcats on Friday at Toro Stadium.

The Coyotes got touchdowns of 82 and 69 yards, and did enough for a comfortable win of the Bearcats. Last year, the Coyotes needed last minute heroics to pull out a victory over Paso.

The Coyotes amassed more than 400 yards of total offense. Freshman Anthony Estrada rushed for 185 yards and three more touchdowns, and also had a 60-yard run called back on a penalty.
