The Madera Coyote track and field team brought home gold medals while battling the cold and the rain at the Central Valley Relays in Dinuba on February 25.

The 4X800 meter relay team of Angela Garcia, Bianca Scott, Natalia Zambrano and Mayce Atherton won the gold medal with a time of 10:40.50 and defeated the second place team by seven seconds.

Josh Marchan, Michael Pedro, Jair Alejandre and Jonathan Garza earned the first place medal in the 4X100 meter relay by finishing with a time of 45.54. They defeated the second place team by just 0.16 seconds.
