Madera Coyote volleyball player Jazmin Rodriguez, with her parents, is all smiles as she signs her official National Letter of Intent to play volleyball at LeMoyne College in Syracuse, New York, next year.

Madera’s Jazmin Rodriguez will be going across the country to continue her volleyball career after signing a National Letter of intent to play at LeMoyne College in Syracuse.

“It’s pretty cool to keep playing,” she said. “I wasn’t sure if I was going to keep playing after high school. I got a call from an agency with connections to schools. I emailed them and things fell into place. It was so exciting.”

In actuality, Rodriguez had given up thoughts about playing volleyball in college and was getting ready to decide where to go for schooling.
