All-Star represents Madera at first Little League girl event

Madera National Little League All-Star Anna Rosales shows off pins she received when she was part of an elite group of girl Little League players to play in Williamsport last month. 

Anna Rosales worked her way through Madera National Little League, and the culmination of her road through he league was getting selected to attend a Little League tournament for girls in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, the home of Little League. 


Rosales helped lead Purl’s Sheet Metal to the MNLL championship. She also batted clean-up for the MNLL 12-year-old All-Star team that advanced to the District 10 Championship. 


She was chosen by MNLL President Chris Schoettler to apply for the tournament that consisted of 60 girls playing Little League baseball throughout North America. Rosales made the trip with her mother, Elena Becerra.
