3rd annual golf tournament benefits local disabled American Veterans

Golfers hit the practice range to get ready for Beau Miracle’s golf tournament to benefit Disabled American Veterans.
Beau Miracle, veteran and owner of Miracle Realty, held his 3rd annual golf tournament at Madera Golf and Country Club on Saturday with more than 100 golfers taking part.
Miracle’s tournament supports the men and women who have sacrificed their lives, health and freedom to protect ours.
“We’ve come together in support of disabled American veterans. What we do is get all the sponsorships to kind of rally up and any additional proceeds we have, we deliver them to the disabled veterans,” Miracle said.
For him, as a veteran and as a former service member during Operation Iraqi Freedom, Miracle understands what many veterans face, and believes giving back and supporting them helps rebuild their lives back home.
Miracle served in the Marine Corps from 1999-2003.
“Many don’t come back home, and many have health-related challenges,” he said. “It’s up to the members of the communities they fought to protect to help them in their time of need.
“I made it imperative for myself that my success is built on giving back. That’s only the way I feel truly fulfilled. I’m very involved with the community, but specifically for the American veterans I just think having the support of another veteran and just doing a little extra can be big for someone who needs help.”
Miracle comes from a military background. His father, grandfather and brother are all veterans and he’s a member of the American Legion as well. Miracle thinks it’s important “to have their back” in terms of the veteran community.
The golf event saw 101 participants and they took part in an 18-hole event that featured a free car, a 2019 Toyota Camry, if you can hit a hole-in-one.
Lots of fun, with a little bit of competition.
“We have many people who aren’t pros, but we also have a lot of people who think they are. In the competitive aspect, we have many prizes that have been donated from the sponsors, including Toyota of Clovis and they have a car out here. It’s pretty awesome to have all the support out here for this event, we are excited to be out here.”
The first year they put it together they had to share the golf course with other golfers, but this year they were able to secure the whole course. Miracle and his group had to reach 80 golfers.
In year one, they had almost 60 participants, in year two they had 81 and in year three, over 100.
“It’s promoting growth and we have had a lot of people in our industry and outside of our industry come out and support us.”
Veterans came out to see the event, members of the VA hospital came out and real estate business partners came out.
Miracle owns not only a real-estate business, but also his own CrossFit gym.
Miracle Reality has been a mainstay in the Valley since 1976 and originated with Miracle’s uncle and father. It started out in Clovis but branched out to Madera to create the second branch.
After his father passed away in 2011, Miracle took it over. At first, the business consisted of two employees, but slowly but surely the business began to pick up.
“Today, I have 12 agents, a property manager and an office manager so, we have grown on that,” Miracle said. “On the CrossFit side, another passion of mine, I’ve had my own struggles with physical fitness and I’ve always appreciated it, but I just never disciplined myself.
“I became a CrossFit coach, teaching classes and volunteering for two years and an opportunity came with a CrossFit gym that was looking to sell out and I decided to do that four years go. Ever since then we have been helping and changing people’s lives.”
