A huge THANK YOU to the Chamber of Commerce and others who provided the Retired Teachers’ Luncheon last week. I was so taken back when my former students were asked to stand that I don’t think I even cheered or clapped wildly. It was just wonderful to see them, and I love them all.
Our community should be so grateful for our brightest, outstanding students to be returning to teach and hold other positions in our community. They are such an asset, and everyone benefits from having them in Madera.
Thanks again to Debi Bray and all her committee for the lovely luncheon and a chance to get together with other retired teachers.
