Readers weren’t pleased that Klein’s truck stop, northwest of Fresno, will be dismantled due to the state’s high-speed rail project.

Readers were divided about the Madera City Council’s workshop on marijuana legalization.

  • Rave — Madera sisters Sophia and X Mireles recently competed at the AAU Junior Olympics in Michigan, and Sophia placed fifth in the U.S. in the 3,000 meter run. “Tammy Rethwill” commented, “That’s freaking awesome.”
