Shoulder closure on Avenue 11

A shoulder closure for utility relocation on Avenue 11 in Madera County is set for Monday.

This work is part of Construction Package 1, the first 32-mile stretch of high-speed rail between Avenue 19 in Madera County to East American Avenue in Fresno County, according to the California High-Speed Rail Authority.

The eastbound shoulder at the intersection of Avenue 11 and Road 31 will be closed. The closure will be in effect weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for two weeks.
