An aspiring doctor graduates first

Despite a difficult move that took her from her friends and hometown of Sunnyside in Fresno County, Jady Yang will be graduating first in her class at Liberty High School.

Yang, 18, was surprised when she heard the news that she heard the news that she would be first. According to her, ranks didn't matter -- only that she did the best to her ability.

"It wasn't really about the placement or the rank that I was," said Yang. "More so about how far I could go."

How far, it turns out, was at the top. This she did in addition to balancing her involvement in the California Scholarship Federation, and her role as secretary for the Kiwanis Key Club...
