Columnist Leon Emo dies at 68

Madera Tribune columnist Leon Emo has died. He succumbed at 2:35 p.m. Friday at St. Agnes Hospital in Fresno.
He was 68; he would have been 69 on May 27.
His final column, for which he did not miss the deadline even though he was very ill, appears on Page B1 of today’s Madera Tribune.
An obituary, along with information about funeral arrangements, will appear in Wednesday’s issue of The Madera Tribune.
