12th annual ArtsFest celebrates art in Madera County

Families are invited to attend the 12th annual Madera County ArtsFest on May 10 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. This free event celebrates art in Madera County in a carnival-type atmosphere.

Madera County Schools Foundation and Madera County Superintendent of Schools are hosting the event at the office of Madera County Superintendent of Schools.

Children will be able to participate in free, hands-on art activities consisting of decorating flowerpots and paper bags, drawing on tambourines and necklaces, swirling pool paintings, and making paper. They will also be encouraged to work with their parents to make play-dough.
