All About Dance earns first medals

The All About Dance and Gymanstics Level 3 gymnasts take the top three spots on the podium during a meet in Visalia.

The All About Dance and Gymnastics team earned 15 medals from its first meet of the season at the Icebreaker meet in Visalia.

Four All About Dance gymnasts earned medals, including six first place medals, in the Jan. 6 meet.

“The gymnasts were filled with excitement and success when they exceeded their personal high scores on all four events,” coach Kirsten Hefner said. “This is what our girls needed to get them pumped up and ready for their big meet at Disneyland.”

Level four gymnast Cayla Silva earned a second place medal in the all around. Samantha Cunningham won the level three all around title. Suzanna Gonzales earned the silver medal. Noelia Calvillo also earned medals in level three.

All About Dance will next compete at Disneyland in Anaheim on Jan. 21.

“We are so proud of them,” Hefner said.
