Pastor and wife to be honored at service

An appreciation service to honor the Rev. Dr. Robert L. Walker, pastor of Galilee Missionary Baptist Church, and his wife, Rose, will be held Sunday, Aug. 27, at 3 p.m. at the church, 22491 Fairmead Blvd.

The service, marking Walker’s 36th year of ministry, will feature the Rev. Dr. Richard L. Daniel, pastor of the Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church of Fresno.

His theme will be “Man of God Continuing to Preach the Gospel,” taken from Jeremiah 3:15.
