Egg hunt and stock car racing at speedway

The annual Easter Egg hunt and racing event has become a tradition for families at the Madera Speedway and, with the addition of the Jr. Late Model exhibition tune-up race with Hailie Deegan, Jessie Love, Tanner Reif, Anthony Guaimano and five other Jr. Late Model drivers that are scheduled to make appearances, this is set to be a fun night for the kids.

The racing lineup gets even better with race No. 1 for the new West Coast Sportsman series featuring Grand National style racing with 75-laps of action, plus the Late Model tune-up “club race,” the wild barrel race for the enduro cars, the Toyota Sedans and the Mini Super Toyotas.

The event kicks off with the opening ceremonies and the annual Easter egg hunt for the kids in the infield at 5 p.m., then it is time for racing at 6 p.m.

Adult tickets are $15, seniors and military are $13, youth ages 6-12 are $7 and kids 5 and under are free. There are discount family packs available.

Race No. 2 of the 51FIFTY Jr. Late Model Series and the RPM Mortgage Pro Late Model Series is April 29 and this MAVTV televised event will feature a huge field of Pro Late Models and Jr. Late Models for fans to enjoy.
