Pombo/Sargent Classic is tonight

Mike Sargent will drive the legendary No. 3 car in an exhibition with Anthony Pomba, who will drive the No. 7 car in tonight’s Pombo/Sargent Classic at the Madera Speedway.

The Pombo/Sargent Classic is tonight at the Madera Speedway and to pay tribute to these two legends of the West Coast, there are seven divisions of cars racing.

In addition, Mike Sargent and Anthony Pombo will participate in an exhibition race with their vintage Super Modifieds.

The Pombo/Sargent Classic, presented by Allied Storage & Containers, lineup includes the BCRA Midgets, USAC HPD Midgets, NCMA Sprints, Vintage Super Modifieds, Legends of Kearney Bowl, BCRA Vintage Midgets, and the CSS/360 Super Modifieds, plus race #2 of the Super Hobby Stock Series 50 laps.

Heat races are at 5:45 p.m. with main events at 6:30 p.m.

Adult tickets are $20, seniors and military are $17, youth ages 6-12 are $10, and kids 5 and under are free.
