Crossroads hosts district spelling bee

Crossroads Christian School hosted an Association of Christian Schools International District spelling bee Friday for grades 1-4, as well as a prior one for grades 5-9 on Jan. 20.

Participating schools included Providence Christian School from Merced, Modesto Christian School, Big Valley Christian School from Modesto, and Hillside Christian Academy from San Francisco.

Crossroads winners for both bees were 7th grader Khushi Sran (2nd place), 3rd grader Harveen Brar (1st place) and 2nd grader Malia Rodriguez (1st place).

Founded in 1998, Crossroads Christian School offers a “Bible centered” education for grades preschool through eighth grade.
