Bryce Gonzalez

The projects Bryce Gonzalez has taken are pistol, wildlife, photography, art and public speaking. He said he really enjoyed all his projects this year, but took special interest in photography.

“I was a junior leader for photography this year and managed to get five first place ribbons,” he said. “One Gold and one Blue at state in photography. At the Madera Fair, I received Best of Show for my bugs life picture.”

He said he combined his public speaking project with his photography project. His demonstration was entitled, “How to Take Pictures of Wildlife,” which he presented at county and regionals.

“I presented my demonstration to the Ranchos Senior Citizens and the Brownies Group at different times,” he said. “It was really fun to present to the community. That is why I am going to join the community pride project this year.

“I would suggest 4-H to anyone. The skills you learn are great. I’m sure this year I am going to learn some useful new skills with poultry this year.
