Madera Glass hosts fundraiser

Madera Glass and Body will host the second annual Madera Unified School District Athletic dinner and dance on Saturday.

The dinner/dance is a fundraiser for both the Madera and Madera South athletic programs.

This year, proceeds will go to the schools’ girls and boys basketball teams, girls and boys volleyball teams, wrestling teams and cheerleading squads.

Social hour begins at 6 p.m. and dinner and live desert auction begins at 7 p.m. with dancing lasting until 11 p.m. at Madera Glass and Body, 105 E. Central Ave. Tickets are $25 each for 21 and older and can be purchased at each athletics department.

Last year, the school’s swimming, golf and water polo teams, among others benefited from the fund raiser.
