Lopez weds Sabala

Kristen Lopez married Brandin Sabala on June 1 at Angels Bay in Waimanalo, Hawaii. Both are graduates of Madera High School, Kristen in 2008 and Brandin in 2003.

Those attending the wedding from Madera were the bride’s mother, Candy Lopez; friend and maid of honor Brittany Petterson; cousin Jason Gutknecht and his wife, Eileen; their daughter and flower girl, Jayleen; cousin Stefani Schoettler and her husband Keith.

Also attending from San Jose, the bride’s uncle and aunt, Henry and Valerie Lopez, and their granddaughter, Aujanea.

Best Man was Koa Soon, friend of the groom from Waimanalo.

Dinner followed at the Chiefs Luau, also in Waimanalo.

Brandin is an Army staff sergeant currently stationed at Hickam Air Force Base in Honolulu. The couple are making their home in Pearl City, Hawaii.
