Bulldog Express to visit Madera, Valley


Above is a video on a 2013 tour of the Bulldog Express in the San Joaquin Valley. The Bulldog Express will come to Madera's Black Bear Diner on Wednesday morning.

 

FRESNO – Fresno State Athletics will hit the road next week, stopping around the San Joaquin Valley to meet with fans and share excitement for the `Dogs during a Bulldog Express tour.

From Monday through Wednesday, the Bulldog Express plans to stop in the south, west and north sides of the San Joaquin Valley, including a morning visit at Black Bear Diner, 1209 E Almond Ave., from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Madera’s Red Wave fans will be able to talk and take selfies with Fresno State head coaches Tim DeRuyter, Rodney Terry, Troy Steiner, and Jeanne Fleck along with Director of Athletics Jim Bartko.

Fresno State will have ticket information available along with giveaways and news about the upcoming season.

The Bulldogs are coming off of a strong 2015-16 school-year where it ranked second in the Mountain West with four team championships won, recorded its ninth-straight year with a department-wide grade-point average over 3.0 and officially launched the Bulldog Stadium Renovation campaign.
