Coyotes head back to title game

In sports, one of the hardest achievements to accomplish is to repeat. Things have to line up the right way in order to win a championship and it doesn't occur often two years in a row.

With a 5-0 victory Wednesday over fourth-seeded Sanger Apaches, the top-seeded Madera Coyotes softball team advanced to its second straight Div. II Central Section championship game.

The Coyotes faced the No. 2 seed Monache Marauders on Friday at Margie Wright Diamond at Fresno State for a chance at a repeat of their 2015 Valley championship.
