The community of Madera and especially the staff of The Madera Tribune were dealt a blow last week with the death of longtime citizen, friend and colleague Leon Emo at the age of 67.

Born on May 26, 1948, to Leon and Goldena Emo in Los Angeles he died on May 13, 2016, at St. Agnes Hospital in Fresno.
