YUSD recognizes school board

The Yosemite Unified School District joins more than 1,000 local educational agencies across California in observing School Board Recognition Month.

In the evolving landscape of education, school board members play a crucial role in prioritizing enhanced learning and student wellbeing. These individuals work to shape the foundational policies and priorities that significantly impact student outcomes.

“Our Board of Trustees members are our elected representatives and a vital link between the school district and the community,” said Brian Beck, YUSD Superintendent. “The board sets the foundation and vision for the district, directs resources where they are most needed, and ensures accountability to the community by monitoring progress toward goals. We appreciate everything they do in service to our schools and community.”
