Newly sworn in Madera County Superintendent of Schools, Tricia Protzman, is joined by her family for a photo after taking the oath of office on Monday.
Patricia Protzman was sworn in as the new Madera County Superintendent of Schools during a ceremony held at the Early Education Center Playground, a fitting location, as it symbolized the beginning of her education career decades earlier.
The ceremony was led by now-retired County Superintendent Dr. Cecilia A. Massetti, who celebrated her final day in the role by passing the torch to Protzman.
“This is where it all started with Tricia, as a teacher at a school site,” Massetti said. “Tricia, you’ve had a successful career.”
