Relay For Life to hold kickoff

Relay For Life in Madera is an annual fundraiser of the American Cancer Society, and has been a tradition in Madera for nearly 40 years. Every year, participants and sponsors gather at Town and Country Park to honor cancer survivors and to remember those who lost the battle with cancer.

Part of that tradition is an event that is held about five weeks prior to Relay For Life, called the Kick Off.

On March 28, the Relay For Life Kick Off will be held at Community Action Partnership Madera County, better known as CAPMC, at 975 S. Pine Street. The event begins at 10 a.m.
