Opinion: What a week

The Madera High School class of 1973 is holding another planning meeting for our 50th class reunion. The meeting is at 12:30 p.m., Saturday at the Madera Elk’s Lodge. All classmates are invited to come help us plan the party-of-the-year.

It has been a tough week. I received word on Tuesday that my older brother Brian Hill has been hospitalized with double pneumonia and Covid. He is at Kaiser Modesto. Prayers for him are greatly appreciated.

Born in 1950, Brian is the middle child in my family of two older brothers and me.
