Opinion: Sitting in the dark is no fun

Did anyone else suffer from a power outage on Wednesday evening? The electricity went out at 7:15 p.m. and didn’t return until 1:30 a.m.

Living alone, I feel my house has been pretty empty since Fred died more than a year ago.

The television in my house is almost always on for the noise and the company. With the power off, the quiet was deafening.
