Madera National’s Lee’s Concrete’s Jesse Zapata throws a pitch during Saturday’s win over Navia’s Transport to win the AAA City Championship.

Madera National Little League champions Lee’s Concrete scored 10 runs over the final two innings to defeat Madera American champion, Navia’s Transport, 14-0, to win the Madera AAA City Championship.

Lee’s banged out eight hits and took advantage of six errors to cruise to the five-inning victory after invoking the run-rule (eight run deficit after five innings) Saturday at Field 2.

The Lee’s pitching staff of Jesse Zapata and A.J. Andrade held Navia’s Transport to just two hits and struck out 11 batters. Zapata got the win with one hit and eight strikeouts over three innings.
