MUSD prepares for first day of school

For The Madera Tribune

Madera Unified School District Superintendent Todd Lile and Madera Police Chief Gino Chiaramonte talk about taking safety measures ahead of the first day of school on Monday in a screenshot of a video sent out to Madera families.

Ahead of the first day of school on Monday, Madera Unified School District has partnered with the Madera Police Department to produce a bilingual back-to-school safety video campaign.

This proactive initiative aims to educate the community and reinforce critical safety measures around school zones.

The video, which is being shared across the district’s social media platforms and directly sent to Madera families, emphasizes the importance of adhering to speed limits in school zones, pedestrian safety and other essential topics. By addressing key areas, the campaign aims to create a safer environment for students, families and the community.
