Motorcyclist dies days after crash

A motorcycle sits next to a GMC Yukon after a motorcyclist, trying to pass the vehicle, crashed into the left side and was ejected. He died from his injuries about four days after the accident.

California Highway Patrol Madera officers responded to a traffic crash, on Fairmead Boulevard, south of Gordon Street on July 27 just before 9 p.m.

Officers learned that a 64-year-old man from Fowler was driving a 2006 Kawasaki Vulcan motorcycle, southbound on Fairmead, south of Gordon.  

A 33-year-old woman from Chowchilla was driving a 2008 GMC Yukon, southbound on Fairmead, ahead of the Kawasaki.
