More than 600 MUSD employees expected at conference

Madera Unified School District will be holding its annual Classified Employee Conference at Matilda Torres High School, where more than 600 staff members are expected to attend.

The conference, whose theme is “Together We Rise,” will be made up of workshops to give Madera Unified classified employees the opportunity to learn new skills that will aid them in their professional and personal development.

Workshops will range from active shooter training, stress and anxiety management, online security, technology, student behaviors and many more.

“We hope that our conference attendees enjoy a full day of professional development training and understand they are valued and respected employees of this District. We hope to inspire and motivate them to be the best they can be in their current positions within Madera Unified,” said Isabel Barreras, Personal Commission Director.
