After more than 46 years of dedicated service to California’s students, families, and educational institutions, Cecilia A. Massetti, Madera County Superintendent of Schools, will retire at the end of June.
Her retirement marks the close of a distinguished career defined by visionary leadership, relentless advocacy, and a steadfast commitment to public education.
Massetti was first elected Madera County Superintendent of Schools in 2010, and re-elected three times by overwhelming support from the community. Under her tenure, she led the County office to enhance efficiency, expand services, and operations toward a regional support model that has served as a model for other counties.
