The Madera South Stallions girls volleyball went into Tuesday’s non-league match with Reedley with some confidence after finding success at the Madera Classic Volleyball Tournament over the weekend.
Unfortunately, that confidence didn’t last long and the Stallions found themselves in familiar territory in a three-set sweep to the Reedley Pirates.
Stallion coaches Karina Garcia and Sharalyn Hernandez thought they had their serve receive problem fixed. However, Reedley exploited that to their advantage. The Pirates served up 21 aces in the three set sweep and only missed three serves.
