Madera Leos pass out shoes and socks

Madera Leo Club members pass out shoes at Pershing Elementary, one of many schools they visit.

The Madera Leo Club began pssing out shoes and socks to Madera Unified School students earlier this week.

They began at Millview on November 6 and will continue passing out shoes and socks until January 27. More than 300 pairs of shoes and socks will be handed out.

Staff at the school nominate students, and their needs are met through Madera Leo Club fundraisers like Madera’s Got Talent.
