Liberty High School is preparing to honor the Class of 2026 during its annual graduation ceremony on Wednesday. This year’s ceremony will look a little different as the event will be held in the Liberty High School quad due to ongoing renovations at the school stadium.

Despite the venue change, Liberty High School staff and Golden Valley Unified School District employees have worked diligently to create a meaningful and memorable experience for graduates and their families.

The campus quad will be transformed into a graduation venue designed to celebrate the accomplishments of the senior class, while maintaining the traditions and spirit of Liberty High School.

Graduates will participate in a special entrance through a “GVUSD Tunnel,” where district employees and staff members from across the district will welcome and celebrate students as they make their way to the ceremony. The tradition is intended to recognize the many educators and staff members who have supported students throughout their educational journey.

Families attending graduation are reminded that seating capacity is limited due to the temporary venue change. We will have two gates at every entrance, one for VIP entrance and the other for regular attendance. Graduates will be provided 12 tickets, 4 VIP and 8 regular seating.

The gates will open at 7 p.m., and the Liberty High School graduation ceremony will begin at 8 p.m. on the Liberty High School campus.
