Learn to be practical

This morning as I was driving to the office, I stopped for someone to cross the street. She was riding what looked like a bicycle with smaller thick tires and was not pedaling the bike. I guessed it was some kind of motorized bicycle. I couldn’t hear a sound coming from it, so I figured it must be battery-operated.
I would have called that a moped, but a moped can also be a sort of scooter-type of motorized vehicle. Motorized bicycles have been around for a very long time, and some of them have changed very little over the years.
I thought to myself, “How handy to have a little means of transportation that is so practical.” A person can get around town without having to buy gasoline, or find a parking space. Of course, it would be important to be able to secure it so nobody steals it.
